Human-Wildlife Conflict Research in Tumanyan Community

We continue to research the human-wildlife conflict issues in various regions and villages in northern Armenia. This time we visited the villages of Tumanyan community inLori, as well as other adjacent villages.

Locals had a very interesting approach to the conflict between humans and wildlife. In almost every village we visited in this region, we heard the following: “The wolf cannot take a bag and go to the grocery store for the food, so, it will come here in search of food”.

The work is implemented within the framework of the “Human-Wildlife Conflict” project, launched in 2018.
