15,000 trees - for people and nature

The Branch of German Nature Protection Union (NABU) in the Republic of Armenia presented 15,000 trees to the residents of 35 communities included in the program within the framework of “Community-based Conservation and Adaptation to Climate Change in Syunik Region” program.

In addition to this, parks have been created on the territory of “Zorats Karer” Historical and Cultural Reserve and Uits community together with the residents of the communities.

In the near future, parks will be created in 4 more communities.

We thank the residents of the communities for their active participation and support.

The program is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
