We are happy to announce the launch of our new project: "Clean Future: Environmental Protection and Plastic Waste".
With the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office, the Armenian branch of the German Nature Protection Union (NABU) is taking a big step forward in the fight against environmental pollution in Armenia.
Our main goal is to involve as many people of all ages as possible in the fight for a cleaner environment by raising awareness of the serious consequences of pollution.
To achieve this goal, we will promote environmentally friendly and conscious consumption practices among urban and rural populations, including through the creation and strengthening of local volunteer groups. An important role in this process will be played by an international exchange, which we hope will initiate a long-term cooperation between the German Youth Association for the Protection of Nature (NAJU) and volunteer groups in Armenia.
The project will organize and conduct the first annual "Clean Future" Camp for high school students with the opportunity to participate in the Harvest Festival, organize seminars and educational exchange trips for activists from Germany and Armenia, open an environmental club offering various theme evenings, activities and free day trips, as well as create new collection points for recyclable materials and develop informational and educational materials.
The project will be implemented jointly with two partner organizations: “ISSD” Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development of Communities” NGO and For People and Nature Armenian Association (FPNA).
