We are concluding the competitions announced in 2024 as part of the "Rural Tourism Development" program implemented by the Armenian branch of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU) and ACBA Federation.
This year, competitions were held in the following categories:
- "Greenest Guesthouse"
- "Become a Green Guesthouse"
- "Best Gastro Yard"
As a result of the "Greenest Guesthouse" and "Become a Green Guesthouse" competitions, the following five guesthouses have been recognized as winners. Each will receive a grant of up to 1.5 million AMD to implement sustainable resource-use technologies and become even "greener":
- "RestArt" Guesthouse (v. Teghut, Tavush Province)
- "Home of Aghasi" Guesthouse (v. Odzun, Lori Province)
- "Manana" Guesthouse (v. Marmarik, Kotayk Province)
- "Srbasar" Guesthouse (v. Koghb, Tavush Province)
- "Beeography" Guesthouse (v. Vardablur, Lori Province)
In the "Best Gastro Yard" competition, the following five gastro yards have been recognized as winners. Each will receive a grant of 1 million AMD:
- "Under the Walnut Tree" Gastro Yard (c. Yeghegnadzor, Vayots Dzor Province)
- "Zovak" Gastro Yard (v. Norashen, Tavush Province)
- "Stepanyans" Gastro Yard (v. Areni, Vayots Dzor Province)
- "Yeramak" Gastro Yard (v. Drakhtik, Gegharkunik Province)
- "Jivani" Gastro Yard (v. Pokr Vedi, Ararat Province)
