On August 16, a large group of people concerned with nature issues headed to Sevan to collect garbage and contribute to the possible resolution of current environmental disasters.
About 78 people took part in the event, including children and adults. It should be noted that not only groups from Yerevan participated, but also local volunteers.
The group was divided into four parts և Garbage collection was carried out in four separate polling stations.
After a short break, a meeting was held with the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Romanos Petrosyan, և seminars, the head of the Institute of Hydroecology and Fisheries, Ph.D. With the participation of Evelina Ghukasyan, representative of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration, Sergey Sarukhanyan.
We ended the day with national dances.
Garbage collection was carried out within the framework of NABU "Clean shore, clean spring" environmental campaign, organized by Eco Aghb NGO.
