Tomorrow, 11 of May, is the World Migratory Bird Day. The aim of the day is to raise public awareness about migratory birds and threats among their migration routes. This day, in different parts of the planet there are various educational, informative and other type of events are being held, which allow people to be closer to nature and participate in conservation.
The motto of the day is – Protect birds: Be the Solution to Plastic Pollution.
So, NABU Armenia also joins this global movement, but not for only a day! 11.05-12.10 we are going to organize various events, projects and campaigns, which will raise public awareness about migratory birds and fight against plastic pollution.
We want to remind, that during 2018 we already implemented various projects and campaigns (“Start yourself”, “Clean coast, Clean shore”, “Falcon”, “Vultures of Armenia”, etc.) on these topics, which are continues up until now.

Start tomorrow, go out to the yard or garden, observe birds which live next to you, clean up the area, so the chicks won’t eat the garbage we through.
