Last year, a GPS device installed on the bearded vulture made it possible to track the bird's migration and record its return to its homeland.
The tagging of the bird species is aimed at detecting
- its migration
- the threats it faces,
- its behavioral characteristics.
This data allows us to develop a strategy for its protection.
And the attached photo already shows a certain part of its migration.
