The branch of German Nature Protection Union (NABU) in the Republic of Armenia provided assistance to three birds during this week.
On 28.10 we received a warning about an injured bird. An employee of the NABU branch in Armenia immediately arrived at the site of the bird's discovery, found out that the injured bird was an owl, and carefully delivered it to the Yerevan Zoo.
Responding to other incoming alarms, our staff also came to the aid of the steppe screamer and the White Stork. It turned out that the White stork came across the wires and fell, the locals watered, fed, took our specialists to a safe place and released them. And the Steppe Stallion was exhausted, and after receiving sufficient care, he will return to the wild.
We express our gratitude to the residents for not remaining indifferent, and to the Yerevan Zoo for their cooperation.
