Consultative Activities in Syunik Region Have Been Completed

Last week, the branch of the German Nature Protection Union (NABU) in the Republic of Armenia was again in Syunik with its partner organization.

Consultative activities were carried out within the framework of the "Community-based Conservation and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Syunik Region (CNCA)" project.

The project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).

Within the framework of consultative measures, consultation was carried out on:

  • climate adaptation,
  • sustainable use of natural resources,
  • sustainable use of water resources,
  • rural tourism,
  • organic agriculture,
  • local products,
  • effective pasture management.

The purpose of the grant contest is to simultaneously contribute to the improvement of the socio-economic situation in rural areas, adaptation to climate change, rational use of natural resources and environmental protection.
