  • visited Egyptian Vultures' and Cinereous Vultures' adaptation centers, where they got acquainted with the methods of rehabilitation, adaptation and release, as well as the organization of vulture “restaurants”,
  • 6 Egyptian vultures in the adaptation centers were marked with satellite sensors, mastering the new methodology of their installation.

Within the framework of exchange of experience it was realized:

  • monitoring of Egyptian Vulture nests in Eastern Rhodopes, within the framework of which 11 nesting territories were checked and observed,
  • Night counts of Owls and Nightjars in local settlements of eastern Rhodopes,
  • Imperial Eagle study work in combination with the visit to the Poda protected area, which is managed by the Bulgarian Association for the Protection of Birds (BSPB).

The team also had a meeting with the staff of BSPB in Plovdiv, had discussions regarding various programs and also adaptation of BSPB's Smart Birds application for Armenia.
