As part of the campaign “Bird of the Year 2023 - Golden Eagle”, our specialists conducted field work to identify and map golden eagle nesting sites.
Recent surveys show that golden eagle chicks have already grown up and are making their first flight attempts.
Citizens of Republic of Armenia also join and support this research through the Golden Eagle Keeper initiative. If you too would like to become a "golden eagle keeper", you should։
- look for and find golden eagle nests in the area adjacent to your residence or outside your residence,
- let us know the location of a golden eagle nest that you already know,
- monitor the safety of the nest throughout the nesting period
- provide us regularly with your observations of the movement of golden eagles.
If you become a "Guardian of the Golden Eagle", you will receive incentive gifts from us, and if you have no opportunity to monitor the nesting process regularly and share this information with us, you can provide information about the nesting place only. In this case you will also receive incentive gifts.
