As part of the collaboration with the branch of German Nature Protection Union (NABU) in the Republic of Armenia, the "Dilijan National Park" SNCO, and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, biodiversity studies, specifically in the fields of ichthyology and botany, have commenced in Dilijan National Park since August 7.
Ongoing investigations include the assessment of vascular plant species composition, density, and threats, as well as the analysis of fish species present in the Agstev River and their quantitative distribution.
In the course of these efforts, examinations of the water bodies and the surrounding land areas of the Getik River, Gosh, and Parz lakes have already been conducted.
The results obtained from these studies will provide valuable insights for developing recommendations aimed at mitigating the identified negative factors.
