Wetlands are ecosystems with rich biodiversity. In Armenia alone, about 140 out of more than 370 bird species live in wetlands, including endangered species.
Due to agricultural and industrial activities, as well as the indifferent attitude of the population and other reasons, the aquatic ecosystems of the Republic of Armenia are polluted, sometimes leaving irreversible consequences for the habitat of endangered animals.
NABU has implemented and continues to implement various activities to promote the conservation of wetlands, aimed at studying these areas, identifying problems and solving them.
The conservation of wetlands is very important, so let's do it together, FOR PEOPLE AND NATURE.
