Eco Camp was held as part of the Clean Future program, which is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
Last week, the staff and volunteers of the German Nature Protection Union (NABU) branch in the Republic of Armenia organized activities at the youth eco camp "Gugark," aimed at enhancing the environmental knowledge of young people.
During the ecocamp, our team conducted courses on environmental protection, contests and games related to environmental topics, garbage collection, quizzes, and screenings of short films about environmental damage, among other activities.
As part of the competitions, the 35 participants of the eco camp were divided into 3 teams named "White Stork," "Egyptian Vulture," and "Golden Eagle."
Throughout the competitions, the teams earned points, leading to the recognition of the "White Stork" team as the winner.
At the conclusion of the eco camp, participants received gifts.
The organization will also arrange transportation for the winning team to the Harvest Festival, which is co-organized this year by the NABU branch in Armenia. The winning team will have the opportunity to participate in environmental courses organized by the organization during the festival
