AI will help resolve conflicts between humans and wildlife

We’re excited to share a new partnership between NABU Armenia and Wildlife Protection Solutions (WPS) as part of our Human-Wildlife Conflict Study Program.

Thanks to this collaboration, we are testing AI-powered camera traps and deterrent boxes in the Yeghegis community, where people often face problems with bears. These tools help us:

Identify bears instantly using AI.

Deter them safely without harm.

If the tests are successful, these technologies will be used in more places across Armenia to help people and wildlife live together peacefully.
