On April 19-22, within the framework of the "Community-based Conservation and Adaptation to Climate Change in Syunik Region" programme, the branch of German Nature Protection Union (NABU) in the Republic of Armenia conducted advanced courses on “Erosion Control and Sustainable Land Use” and “Developing Applications for Development Grant Programmes” for the residents of 35 villages included in the programme.
The key topics of the lessons were:
- methods to prevent soil erosion,
- sustainable land management practices,
- features of applying for grants and development programs.
And at the end of the course, participants were provided with seedlings.
The programme is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
