On March 26-29, within the framework of the "Community-based Conservation and Adaptation to Climate Change in Syunik Region" program, the branch of German Nature Protection Union (NABU) in the Republic of Armenia conducted advanced courses on "Sustainable Agricultural Practices in Small Farms" for the residents of 35 villages included in the programme.
The key topics of the lessons were:
- Organic agriculture,
- Climate sustainable agriculture,
- Sustainable Farming Methods.
And at the end of the course, on the occasion of the beginning of spring, participants received seedlings as an incentive to participate in the course.
The trainings were held within the framework of the program "Community-based Conservation and Adaptation to Climate Change in Syunik Region", which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
