Yesterday, residents of Getazat village in the Ararat region contacted us, reporting that they had found a wounded bird of prey in the mountains.
Our experts responded promptly and visited the residents to assess the situation. They determined that the bird in question was a common buzzard, which was not wounded but rather severely emaciated.
In collaboration with the Armavir region's zoo, our specialists transferred the bird there to facilitate its proper car.
After a week-long rehabilitation period, the bird will be released back into the wild.
We extend our gratitude to the residents of Getazat village in the Ararat region for their kindness, the Armavir region zoo for their invaluable support and for providing shelter to the bird, and also to the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia for their assistance.
